The CLAS Computer Support Group provides IT assistance for faculty and staff members in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences on the Storrs campus.
We consult with the many CLAS departments who do not have their own dedicated IT support staff. Many departments have their own IT support that either handles all of their IT needs for that department or that we help to supplement.
We are a small group but we offer a broad range of PC and Mac desktop support services, computer-related purchasing consultation, and server infrastructure. Our primary goal is to fill gaps in services provided by UITS for researchers and instructors. Computer Support Group staff also represent the interests of CLAS on a variety of computer-related committees.
